Available in 7', 8', 9' and 10' body lengths in powder coated steel or stainless steel, these rugged v-box type spreaders mount easily on pick-up, dump or platform trucks. All spreaders are covered by the FISHER® Two Season Warranty 7' and 8' REGULAR CAPACITY - Available in 12 gauge steel with baked-on powder coated finish or 304 stainless steel. It effectively spreads all ice control materials including salt, sand, a salt/sand mix or even wet sand. And the POLY-CASTER spreader comes loaded with more standard features to enhance operator efficiency and convenience. Available in three sizes (1.5 cu. yd., 1.8 cu. yd. and 2.5 cu. yd.), there's a POLY-CASTER spreader ready to meet your ice control needs. The Two-piece poly hopper cover shields de-icing material from the elements. Its overlapping design seals out moisture while molded water grooves direct runoff away from the hopper. Its domed shape increases hopper capacity. When opened, the covers form a spill guard to keep overflow material out of your truck bed. Top screens are standard. Dual, independent electric conveyor motor and spinner motor provide independent control of the conveyor and spinner to precisely match material delivery and spread pattern to conditions. You get reliable instant starts every time with no gas engine to maintain. Exclusive adjustable-height poly spinner/chute assembly accommodates both pickup- truck and flatbed applications. Both units are easily removed from the vehicle without the use of tools. The patented SPEED-CASTER tailgate spreader, with a 10 cu. ft. poly hopper, was designed to spread dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice melting materials. The hopper’s unique shape along with replaceable internal agitators promote efficient material flow. Adjustable material deflectors control the spread pattern while poly feed gates regulate the material flow. Capable of spreading all types of material, including wet sand, the SPEED-CASTER 2™ features a 2-stage delivery system with a 16" belt conveyor for positive feed of all materials. The high strength poly hopper has up to 1200 lb. capacity (10 cubic feet) on properly equipped vehicles. Spreader height, along with the feed gate and deflectins, are all adjustable.
